Drivers Education Program

Youth Program
ERI provides a 10-hour driver safety course to youth who wish to obtain a Learner’s Permit in Virginia. Included in the program is information about your license and the law, good driving practices, and rules for the road. This course satisfies the classroom portion of driver’s education and helps individuals prepare to take their Learner’s Permit test at the local Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.

Adult Program (19+ yrs)
ERI’s Adult Driver’s Education program is a 10-hour class that prepares individuals for Virginia’s written driver’s license exam. For adults with a disability, ERI can arrange for testing accommodations through DMV.

Transportation to DMV can be provided for both programs by ERI if needed.
