Art I - 1 credit

This is the first of a two-part series of Art Appreciation exploring art from 15,000 BC to the present. Students will study the concepts and principles of art including line, form, shape, texture, color and space. The students will work in various media such as charcoal, pencil, pen & ink, crayons, markers, water colors and acrylics. Field trips to area museums and art galleries as well as research with supplimental instruction.
