This course is set up to provide students with an easy-to-digest time line to mark the journey of its earliest inhabitants to the first permanent European settlement 400 years ago up to present day America. The development of the U.S. is divided into significant eras and designed to enhance student reading through critical thinking and reasoning. Students will also learn about Virginia's key contributions in the formation of our nation .
