THE GLADYS H. OBERLE SCHOOL
The Oberle School, with campuses in the City of Fredericksburg and Town of Montross, is designed for middle and high school students who are not achieving to their potential. The majority of our students are placed with us because they are functioning behind grade level and/or lack the social skills necessary to succeed in the public school setting.

Employment Resources Incorporated opened The Gladys H. Oberle School, the region's first alternative, special education day school in the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1991. A second campus was opened in Montross, Virginia in 2003. Both campuses are licensed to operate by the Virginia Department of Education and are accredited through the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities.

We specialize in serving middle and high school students with Serious Emotional Disturbances, Specific Learning Disabilities, Mild Mental Retardation, and Other Health Impairments. However, any student experiencing difficulty in the traditional public school setting will be considered for enrollment.
