Interact Club

 

Sponsored by the Stafford Rotary, this club allows many of our students to participate in community service projects.  Some of our

projects include:

  • Bake Sale for Volunteers for the Blind

  • Christmas Caroling at Nursing Homes

  • Earth Day at Fort A.P. Hill

  • Heritage Trail Clean-up

  • Partnering with Shenandoah             National Park to rid the area                             of Invasive Plants

  • Recreation activities with                           Poet’s Walk, an Alzheimer’s                           care facility

  • Recycling for Habitat                         for Humanity

  • Relay for Life

  • Wings for Wheels

  • Yard Clean-up for Elderly Neighbors

Students are offered a variety of clubs to join at the Gladys H. Oberle School. Clubs are formed at the beginning of each semester based upon the interest of students. The clubs meet the first and third Wednesday of each month. This semester's club offerings are:

Arts & Crafts • Competitive Sports • Cooking • Fishing

Classic Movies• Silent Reading • Board Games • Music
